I’m an alumni and a current parent of an FPD student. I’m born and raised in Macon and never ever considered sending my child anywhere else. The Administration is top notch. Best Administration the school has had in 20 years. Any problem or issue that I have brought to the school has been satisfactorily handled. I would like to see FPD continue to grow its enrollment and reach more children to equip them for this challenging world.

First Presbyterian Day School is an outstanding school. The curriculum is challenging, but the staff is extremely helpful and understanding. They will push you to do your best, and properly prepare you for college. I graduated in 2015 and still have relationships with many of my former teachers.

I have been at FPD for most of my life, but I still remember so clearly the stark transition from public school to FPD. I cannot begin to describe how this place has changed my life. I feel so supported and have deep connections with many of my current and former teachers. FPD is a precious school and I cannot imagine my life without it. If you’re looking for a school in the Macon area, please come visit!!!! <3

FPD has been an absolutely amazing environment for our two daughters. FPD is such a warm, friendly, inviting school that is based off Biblical truth. It’s so comforting sending our girls to a school that values biblical teachings and loves our daughters like they are their own. FPD is hands down the BEST private school in Macon.

My children have attended FPD for the past 10 years. We love our school! The faculty and staff genuinely care about the overall well-being of their students and want them to succeed in every aspect of life. FPD is like a big family, and we cannot imagine being anywhere else!

We are so thankful to have our girls at FPD for their education. Not only are they learning at a high academic level, but God is woven through all that happens at their school. There is an intentional focus on integrating their subjects with God and the real world. They are being taught, loved and mentored from Godly people who truly care about their wellbeing and success. I could not want a better experience for my children.

FPD is an amazing school! Students are challenged academically and also supported by teachers who love and nurture them. Everything from education in the classroom to coaching sports teams and directing music or theatre is done so through the biblical worldview lens. The culture here is bar none and is truly something you have to experience to believe. We are so glad we are a part of the FPD family!

socially speaking, some staff members have a tendency to favor the male students in the classroom and in extracurricular programs.

I liked that it was a good Christian environment and the education was great. But it was a very hostile place when it came to being a different race or political party other than Republican. While it my feel like a warm welcome at first, as you learn more and more about the school you realize how bad it can be sometimes.

It is a college preparatory school. It is also a Christian private school. I like that God is always being spoke about every day. Pray in every class I take. Since it is a small school, teachers know you personally and that is how I decided I wanted to go to a small college. Teachers also want to know you personally and communication is key for every class. If I am absent teacher will know ahead of time and will let me know what I am missing and send me videos so I can understand what notes I missed.

First Presbyterian was an incredibly joyful expierience. I started Highschool at FPD completely alone not knowing anyone. Immediately i was welcomed with open arms and warn smiles. They are an amazing community which boots each and maintains a positive einviorment for everyone to thrive in. I was able to explore many different aspects of my person and felt safe to try new activities. The teachers and staff give a warm smile and safe place for all students, In my expierience I always felt like I had someone I could go to during school if I need anything.

By far the best 2 years of my life, this school has helped me prepare for the next 4 years of my life. College has been nothing short of an amazing experience. Having my work load similar to the workload I had at FPD helped out a lot with time management. Not only did I enjoy my time there but, so did my sister who is 6 years younger than me. My mom sacrificed a lot for my sister and I to be able to attend, so it made matters better when she noticed how inclusive the community was from day one.

It is a nice school, and many opportunities. It is a great prep school for college also. But, there is not much diversity.

I liked the diversity, and the fact that there was a group of people that were both smart and athletic like me. It made the school less "cliquey."

Three of my children attended FPD in the 90’s. In my experience, children who are not physically, intellectually or athletically superior are bullied by students and staff. Biggest parenting mistake I ever made.

I love fpd and the teachers make it feel like home. The only negative about Fpd is the athletics. All the other school focus on more than football and baseball which fpd doesn’t. But all together fpd is a great place to be and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else
